The eighth annual New York Times Travel Show, to be held Feb. 25 to 27, 2011, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York 
City is really two show wrapped up in one. On the first day, Friday, it is an event for professionals from travel writers to travel management companies.
The 2011 Travel Show will begin with a trade day for industry professionals on Feb. 25, offering targeted conferences about Africa, the Caribbean, cruising and travel media. The exhibit hall will also be open for exclusive viewing by travel trade professionals, followed by an industry reception on the exhibit floor.

The Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival opens tomorrow through Sunday (October 7th - 10th, 2010) -- mainly at various locations in the Meatpacking District. This is year three. Its sister festival in Miami, Florida, will be celebrating 10 years i
