Mondo.NYC: Exploring the Future of Music

 

Created as a forum for industry pioneers and veterans to come together to discuss the future of the music industry as well as the latest in music technology, Mondo.NYC returns — plus a curated music festival for discerning fans of emerging artists around the world. Now in its fifth year, this virtual event, running October 13 to 16, looks into how the music world has been upended by the COVID pandemic with panels featuring over 200 leading music, arts, media and tech executives and entrepreneurs, round tables, private one-on-ones and more.

2020 will also see a conversation on the "The Future of Streaming” between RIAA Chairman & CEO Mitch Glazier and DiMA CEO Garrett Levin; a conversation between BMG’s John Loeffler, internationally-recognized singer/songwriter/performer Rufus Wainwright and acclaimed songwriter/record producer Jerry “Wonda” Duplessis; plus appearances by Tim Westergren, Founder of Sessions; legendary recording producer/engineer Ron Saint Germain; six-time GRAMMY Award winning bassist/composer Christian McBride; entrepreneur and live entertainment executive Bill Silva; President of Music Business Association Portia Sabin; and dozens more.
